The latest erwin Data Intelligence (erwin DI) version, v13.2, has the following new features and enhancements:

    • Metadata Manager: Revamped UI

    The Metadata Manager has been redesigned to make data access intuitive and effortless, ensuring a pleasant user experience. It now has a card layout that enables you to search, view, and compare assets with ease. Its rich filtering options help you in precisely pinpointing the required information. Apart from that, the Explore tab helps you navigate through your systems and environments effortlessly. For more information about Metadata Manager, refer to the Using Metadata Manager topic.

    Proposed Assets

    An option, Proposed Assets, has been added to the Discover Assets module. It is designed for business users and users who can only view information but can help curate appropriate data. Such users can propose new assets to fill any gap in the available data.

    Metadata Manager: Flexible Stewardship Governance Responsibilities

    You can now add users and roles to technical assets in the Metadata Manager and propagate data governance responsibilities across business assets and technical assets.

    Platform Dashboard

    erwin DI 13.2 introduces a new module, Platform Dashboard, that gives you an overview of key metrics and insights such as user activities, metadata metric, data governance assets etc. It is designed to help you understand the return on investment (ROI) from erwin DI.     • System Environment Name (Metadata Manager): - (hyphen), ( (opening parenthesis), ) (closing parenthesis), / (slash), # (hash), . (full stop), [] (left and right square brackets), ! (exclamation mark), + (plus), % (percentage), ~ (tilde), ; (semicolon), , (comma), = (equals sign), ^ (circumflex accent), and {} (left and right curly brackets)

    • Mapping Name (Mapping Manager): # (hash), @ (at sign), [] (left and right square brackets), ! (exclamation mark), % (percentage), ; (semicolon), = (equals sign), ^ (circumflex accent), and {} (left and right curly brackets)

    • Subject Name (Mapping Manager): # (hash), . (full stop), , (comma), @ (at sign), [] (left and right square brackets), ! (exclamation mark), + (plus), % (percentage), ; (semicolon), = (equals sign), ^ (circumflex accent), and {} (left and right curly brackets)
